  1. The National Unity Government acknowledges the first visit of the new Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Cambodia, to Myanmar from 20 to 23 March 2022.<\/li>
  2. The National Unity Government has formally communicated with the Royal Government of Cambodia as ASEAN Chair, welcoming the appointment of the new Special Envoy and extending its support in resolving the multiple military junta-induced crises in Myanmar.<\/li>
  3. On 22 February 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government sent official correspondence to the new Special Envoy with an offer to meet to advance these efforts. This offer stands.<\/span><\/li>
  4. The National Unity Government also calls on the Special Envoy to meet with other parties concerned during his visit, as required by the Five-Point Consensus. These parties must include the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC), Ethnic Resistance Organisations, civil society representatives, community leaders and humanitarian organisations. The Special Envoy must also meet with the Republic of the Union of Myanmar\u2019s arbitrarily detained, democratically-elected leaders President U Win Myint and State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.<\/li>
