H.E. Daw Zin Mar Aung, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, met with H.E. Mr. Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. During that video conference meeting, Union Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung expressed the deepest appreciation to the people and government of the Czech Republic for being a long-standing friend of Myanmar in the journey to freedom and democracy. Union Minister also mentioned that struggle of Myanmar Democracy movement was inspired by the late President Vaclav Havel and his leadership during the darkest periods of history of Myanmar. Khun Bedu, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Bo Kyi, Joint Secretary of Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (Burma), and Daw Nilar Thein, 88 generation student leader, also attended to that Video Conference.
