ဖက်ဒရယ်ဒီမိုကရေစီ ပြည်ထောင်စု ပေါ်ထွန်းရေးဦးဆောင်ကောင်စီ (SCEF) ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံ ခရီးစဉ််အတွင်း တိုရန်တိုတက္ကသိုလ်တွင် မြန်မာ့အရေး သုတေသန ပြုလုပ်နေကြသည့် ပညာရှင်များနှင့် တွေ့ဆုံ ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။ SCEF ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့တွင် SCEF အတွင်းရေးမှုးအဖွဲ့ဝင်ဖြစ်သည့် အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဒေါ်ဇင်မာအောင်၊ SCEF နိုင်ခြားရေးရာအဖွဲ့ဝင်များဖြစ်ကြသည့် ကရင်နီပြည်ကြားကာလအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးကောင်စီမှ နဲနယ်ပလို နှင့် ကရင်အမျိုးသားအစည်းအရုံးမှ စောနီးမရော့ဒ်တို့ ပါဝင်ကြပြီး အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ သမ္မတအကြံပေးဦးကျော်ဇော်လည်း ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
SCEF ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံခရီးစဥ်အတွင်း တိုရန်တိုတက္ကသိုလ် ၏ Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Polic y တွင် ကုသမဂ္ဂဆိုင်ရာ ကနေဒါအမြဲတမ်းကိုယ်စားလှယ်ဟောင်း၊ အွန်တာရီယိုပြည်နယ် ဝန်ကြီးချုပ်ဟောင်း၊ ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံ၏ လက်ရှိအာဏာရပါတီ လစ်ဘရယ်ပါတီခေါင်းဆောင်ဟောင်းဖြစ်သူ ဘော့ဘ်ရေး(Hon. Bob Rae) နှင့် တွေ့ဆုံပြီး မြန်မာ့နိုင်ငံရေး ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုအကြောင်း နှင့် ဖက်ဒရယ်ရေးရာကိစ္စရပ်များ၊ လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုအကူအညီကိစ္စများ နှင့် နိိုင်ငံတကာဆက်ဆံံရေးအကြောင်းအရာများကို ရင်းနှီးပွင့်လင်းစွာ ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ဘော့ဘ်ရေးသည် ကနေဒါအစိုးရ၏ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ အထူးသံတမန် အဖြစ် ၂၀၁၇ ခုနှစ်အောက်တိုဘာလမှ ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ် ဧပြီလအထိ တာဝန်ယူခဲ့ဖူးပြီး ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံ၏ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားရေးနှင့် လူ့အခွင့်အရေး ကိစ္စရပ်များ၏ မူဝါဒပိုင်းကို အဓိကပုံဖော်ပေးခဲ့သူ ဖြစ်သည်။

ထို့အပြင် SCEF ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် တိုရန်တိုတက္ကသိုလ်၏ မြန်မာ့အရေး မူဝါဒရေးရာ သုတေသနအဖွဲ့ ဖြစ်သည့် Myanmar Policy and Community Knowledge (MyPACK) Hub နှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ မူဝါဒဆိုင်ရာ ကိစ္စရပ်များကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။ အဆိုပါ ဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ အခြားသော စိတ်ပါဝင်စားသည့် သုတေသီများနှင့် ပညာရှင်များ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး ပရော်ဖက်ဆာ မက်သရူးဝေါလ်တန် က မြန်မာ့အရေးလေ့လာသုံးသပ်ချက်များနှင့် အကြံပြုချက်များကို ဦးဆောင်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ MyPack သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ သက်ဆိုင်သူများ၊ သုတေသတကွန်ယက်များနှင့် နိုင်ငံတကာရောက်​မြန်မာအင်အားစုများ၏ သိမြင်မှုများကို အခြေခံ၍ မြန်မာ့အရေးနှင့်ပတ်သက်သည့် ဆန်းသစ်သော ဖြေရှင်းချက်များကို မူဝါဒချမှတ်သူများထံသို့ ထောက်ပံ့ပေးလျက်ရှိသော အဖွဲ့အစည်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။

The SCEF delegation met with scholars conducting research on Myanmar issues at the University of Toronto

The Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF) delegation met and discussed with scholars who are doing research on Myanmar at the University of Toronto. The delegation included Daw Zin Mar Aung, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government, who is a member of the SCEF Secretariat; Neineh Plo of the Interim Executive Council of Karenni State and Saw Nimrod of the Karen National Union, who are SCEF Foreign Affairs Members; and U Kyaw Zaw, Presidential Advisor to the National Unity Government.

The SCEF delegation met Hon. Bob Rae, former Canada Permanent Representative to the UN, former Premier of Ontario and Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, University of Toronto, and discussed political developments in Myanmar and federal issues. They had a friendly and open discussion on humanitarian assistance and international relations. Bob Rae is a prominent figure in Canadian politics and international diplomacy. The Prime Minister of Canada appointed him as Special Envoy to Myanmar in October 2017, serving until April 2018. He has profoundly shaped Canada’s Myanmar policy on humanitarian and human rights issues.

In addition, the SCEF delegation held discussion on Myanmar policy related matters with the Myanmar Policy and Community Knowledge (MyPACK) Hub. Professor Matthew Walton led the MyPack team sharing analysis and suggestions. Other interested researchers and scholars from the university attended the meeting. MyPack provides policy-makers with innovative solutions regarding the Myanmar crisis using insights from Myanmar, network of researchers and diaspora.

SCEF ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် ဒီမိုကရက်တစ် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ပါလီမန် မိတ်ဆွေများ အဖွဲ့၏ ဦးဆောင်အဖွဲ့ဝင်များဖြစ်ကြသည့် လွှတ်တော်အမတ် ဂါနက်ဂျီးနီယက် နှင့် အဒမ်ချိန်ဘာတို့နှင့်လည်းတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ကြပြီး အတူတကွ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည့်အချက်များ ၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် တရားဥပဒေစိုးမိုးနိုင်ရေး၊ အရပ်သားများအပေါ်အကြမ်းဖက်မှုအဆုံးသတ်နိုင်ရေး အတွက် ဆောင်ရွက်ရမည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များ စသည့်အကြောင်းအရာများဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

SCEF ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် အိုတာဝါမြို့တွင် အရပ်ဖက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် ဆက်လက်တွေ့ဆုံကာ လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ အကူအညီများကိစ္စနှင့် ဖက်ဒရယ်ရေးရာကိစ္စရပ်များကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

ထို့အပြင် SCEF ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် တိုရန်တိုတက္ကသိုလ်တွင် ပါမောက္ခများ၊ သုတေသနပညာရှင်များ နှင့်တွေ့ဆုံဆွေနွေးခဲ့ကြသလို ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံရှိမြန်မာနွယ်ဖွားများနှင့်တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲ (Town Hall Meeting)များလည်းပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

SCEF delegation meets with Canadian government, members of parliament , academics, civil societies, and Myanmar Communities

The Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF) delegation met with Canadian government, members of parliament in Ottawa, Canada, during its visit to Canada. Robert Oliphant, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that Canada stands firmly with the people of Myanmar in their pursuit of a peaceful and inclusive future, and underscored the urgent need for an immediate cessation of hostilities, along with full and unhindered humanitarian access. The delegation then briefed the objectives and work of SCEF, as well as the current situation in Myanmar, and discussed ways to further cooperate.

The SCEF delegation also met with MP Garnett Genius and MP Adam Chambers , who are leading members of the Parliamentary Friends of Democratic Burma, to discuss ways to work together, the rule of law in Myanmar, and the need to end violence against civilians.

The SCEF delegation continued its meetings with civil society organizations in Ottawa, where it discussed humanitarian assistance and federal issues.
