He enjoyed the general practitioner life with the local community’s trust for 10 years in Kachin State, then he moved to the non-profit, humanitarian sector, and worked for quite diverse projects and programs from disease prevention and health promotion projects to organisational development programs in Myanmar.

He studied public health and health management dual-master degrees at the University of New South Wales. After the military seized control on 1 February, he became a pro-democracy activist in Australia. He is a founding member of CRPH/NUG Support Group (Australia), a political platform set up with 73 Myanmar community organisations in Australia to advocate for the Australian Government and Parliament and implement campaigns and grassroots actions as one team, one voice for the Myanmar cause.
