H.E. Daw Zin Mar Aung, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, met with Rushanara Ali, a Member of Parliament from the Labour Party and Chairperson of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Burma. The meeting took place from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM UK time during the Union Minister’s visit to the United Kingdom. Discussions were held on various important topics, including humanitarian assistance, the UK Parliament’s enhanced support for the Myanmar Spring Revolution, the refugee issue, and the safeguarding of minority rights. Dr. Thet Ko Ko and U Maung Maung Aung, NUG representatives to the United Kingdom, were also in attendance at the meeting. During her visit to the United Kingdom, H.E. Daw Zin Mar Aung looks forward to continuing her discussions with other esteemed officials.
