အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ (NUG) သည်၊ အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ကြီးနှင့် ဆက်ဆံရေး ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းများ ပိုမိုတိုးမြှင့်လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် ဦးဘိုလှတင့် အား သံအမတ်ကြီးအဖြစ် အောက်တိုဘာလ ၂၄ ရက်နေ့ ခန့်အပ်တာဝန်ပေးအပ်လိုက်ကြောင်း သတင်းရရှိပါသည်။ ဦးဘိုလှတင့်သည် ၁၉၉၀ ခုနှစ်က ဒေါက်တာစိန်ဝင်းဦးဆောင်သည့် National Coalition Government of the Union of Burma (NCGUB) အစိုးရအဖွဲ့တွင် ဆောက်လုပ်ရေးဝန်ကြီး၊ သတ္တုတွင်းဝန်ကြီးတာဝန်များကို ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့သည်။ NCGUB ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် ဒေါက်တာစိန်ဝင်းဦးဆောင်သည့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂ မြန်မာကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့တွင်လည်း ပါဝင်တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် NCGUB အစိုးရအဖွဲ့ ၏ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးတာဝန်ကို ၂၀၁၂ ခုနှစ်အထိထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ယခုအခါ အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ NUG က အာဆီယံဆိုင်ရာ သံအမတ်ကြီးအဖြစ် ခန့်အပ်တာဝန်ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
